Senior Program Coordinator, Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, San Francisco State University

The Senior Program Coordinator (SPC) of Research, Instruction & Special Initiatives will develop, establish, facilitate, and sustain future and current programs of ICCE through: program and policy research, analysis, development, reporting, and evaluation; determining methods, policies, and procedures to achieve programmatic goals. The SPC will support the development of instructional programs and curricular activities in service learning courses across the curriculum; coordinate the efforts to organize faculty development programs; coordinate the service learning assessment criteria; coordinate community partner workshops; and provide support to the Community Resilience Initiative. In addition, the SPC is responsible for gathering data and submitting annual reports including Higher Education Honor Roll, and others as assigned. All program coordinators share responsibility for supporting community service learning and other existing programs of the Institute, for seeking external funding to support existing and new ICCE programs, launching and coordinating the activities of these programs, and assisting faculty in their efforts to conduct research and evaluation of Institute and external programs.
