This position involves directing the Center for Social Concerns Summer Service
Learning Program and other domestic summer programs as applicable. Overall, the
position calls for sustained collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and community
representatives across the US to facilitate creative learning and related research
initiatives that have positive effects for community partners, students, faculty, staff and
the University. While the position involves elements of direct classroom instruction, it
contains significant administrative duties in a program serving over 200 undergraduate
and graduate students annually. This position will need to steward donors who support
summer programming.
