The Coordinator will work collaboratively with colleagues in Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Student Association and community partners, to develop, coordinate, and promote community service and civic engagement opportunities for the SUNY Oswego campus. The Coordinator will promote, support and coordinate student involvement in community service and civic engagement through ongoing service programs, one-time community service events and civic engagement programming. The Coordinator will continue to build a clearinghouse for community service sites and assure that service activities are coordinated for the College in a cohesive manner that emphasizes the importance of lifelong civic involvement. Will serve as liaison to community partners by focusing on identifying and developing new sustainable community partnerships, assessing community needs, and mobilizing resources from the campus to address the needs of the community. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, student organizations and campus departments to respond to build partnerships on campus and with the external community.
