UNCW is searching for an outstanding teacher and scholar to fill a tenure-track faculty position (assistant professor) in Higher Education. The position will begin August 2017.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach campus-based and web-enhanced or online courses in a dynamic graduate program focusing on higher education/student affairs
• Assist in ongoing development of master’s and doctoral programs in higher education
• Supervise students in completing their internship(s), culminating projects and/ or dissertation
• Maintain an active scholarship agenda focused on addressing higher education issues in two and/or four year institutions in one or more of the areas of access, counseling, student development, leadership, and international students/education
