North Carolina Campus Compact is now accepting applications for a VISTA program coordinator. The Program Coordinator provides leadership for all aspects of the NC Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA program. In addition, the Coordinator will lead the strategic process for developing the focus area of the next three-year VISTA grant.
Desired qualifications and skills include:
- Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred
- Knowledge or experience with AmeriCorps and/or Campus Compact
- 2-3 years supervisory experience required, work with college-age or early career adults preferred
- Interest in working within higher education, particularly with staff on college campuses across North Carolina
- Willingness to travel throughout the state
- Experience in communications, grant-writing, and program development and management
- Understands, appreciates, and promotes the value of a year of service to address community challenges, build personal skills, and develop as citizens
Applicants must pass National Service Criminal History Check.
