The Social Justice Institutes will include two distinctive Institutes: the well-established Grace Ann Geibel Institute for Justice and Social Responsibility and the new Women of Spirit Institute. This is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative leader to build on the success of an existing Institute, to establish and grow a new one, and to facilitate synergies between the two that will produce signature projects and Institutes that serve as hallmarks of Carlow University.
We seek a consensus-driven individual to provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction for the Institutes as well as to broaden their external reach and augment Carlow’s connection with the surrounding communities. The Director will help advance the University’s commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, service and transformational educational opportunities as well as its mission to contribute to the creation of a more just and merciful world. This is a 12-month, full-time staff position with university benefits that will reside within Academic Affairs and report directly to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs
