Program Manager, Duke Office of Civic Engagement, Duke University

Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for Civic Engagement, the program manager is responsible for planning, marketing, administering, managing and evaluating the work of the Duke Office of Civic Engagement.

WORK PERFORMED

  • PROGRAM COORDINATION AND SUPPORT (50%)
  • WEB SITE AND COMMUNICATIONS (20%)
  • FINANCE (15%)
  • ADMINISTRATION (15%)

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in field of study related to civic engagement, higher education, college student personnel administration, international aid or development, or other post-secondary degree or certification relevant to this position.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of four years of full-time work experience related to higher education and/or civic engagement, volunteer or international development programs, or other types of programs relevant to the duties of this position
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning, budget management, proposal development, and writing
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and collaborative project management.
