Youth Registration and Turnout in 2014 Lowest Ever Recorded
CIRCLE analysis of data reveals that only 19.9% of young people, ages 18-29, cast ballots in the 2014 midterm elections and only 46.7% were registered to vote. These were the lowest rates ever recorded in the U.S. Census’ Current Population Survey (CPS).
