Project Coordinator, Center for Civic Engagement, University of Texas at San Antonio

The University of Texas at San Antonio’s Center for Civic Engagement seeks an energetic individual to join our developing Center as a Civic Engagement Program Coordinator. This full-time position will oversee communications for the Office of the Vice President for Community and the Center for Civic Engagement. This includes website maintenance, publications, newsletters and social media. Additionally, they will provide oversight to the Center’s efforts in tracking civic engagement initiatives; support of community based learning; and work to develop civic literacy programming.

Qualifications
The Project Coordinator position requires 5 years of experience in any combination to include at least one from each of the following two categories: (1) Writing/editing, communications, public relations, marketing, (2) civic engagement programming; student program development and management in a university setting, experience in community program management, research, evaluation and assessment. A Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
