Updated 2/17, 11:30 AM – The 2015 PACE Conference WILL take place this Wednesday, 2/18, at Elon University. Registration opens at 9 AM; programming begins at 9:30 AM and concludes at 5 PM. There is no change to the schedule of workshop sessions. Dr. Rick Battistoni will deliver a keynote address on “Beyond Service and Service-learning: Educating for Democracy in College,” and Dr. Byron White of Cleveland State University will deliver a special plenary during lunch on “Navigating Power Dynamics between Institutions and Communities.”
As always, participants should make their own decisions about travel. If you have reserved hotel room(s) at the Best Western, Burlington, but you choose not to travel to Elon, please call the hotel at 336-584-0151 to cancel your reservation and release the room.
