Three College Students are Front-Runners in Maryland School Board Election

In the April 2012 primary in Prince Georges County in Maryland, Edward Burroughs III, Raaheela Ahmed and David Murray, crushed their opponents in the school board races and are now the front-runners heading into November’s general election.  Burroughs, 19, a student at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, won 67 percent of the vote in his reelection bid. UNCG’s Emily Janke Wins Emerging Leaders Award

C-SPAN Visits Western Carolina University

On May 3, 2012 the C-SPAN Campaign 2012 Bus visited Western Carolina University as part of a six-day tour of universities and towns in North Carolina. Davidson College Student, Joe Morrison, Regional Winner in Social Entrepreneurship Competition
