The Student Coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE), a division of the UNC-CH School of Education, supports campus-based literacy programs throughout the United States. SCALE is seeking a project director for our statewide NC ENGAGE AmeriCorps program. Responsibilities include recruiting members and placement sites, training members and site supervisors, project reporting and documentation, and working with the evaluation team.
Master s degree in communications, business, literacy, education or related field preferred; will accept a relevant undergraduate degree in communications, business, literacy, education or related field and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution.
Experience with literacy tutoring and/or volunteer program management and ability to travel required.
Salary range for the position is $31,500 to $37,000. No phone calls please.
