The Coordinator must have a clear understanding of environmental justice and community-engaged research including community-based participatory research (CBPR). The Coordinator must be able to work with partners on environmental justice and health issues in the state of Maryland and other states including Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Project
activities will take place both in campus and community settings.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
Assisting with all aspects of research protocols. Assisting with data collection and follow-up procedures. Assisting with data analysis. Assisting with IRB submissions, addendum’s, and renewals. Coordinating project meetings, conference calls, and community events. Serving as a liaison between the university and community partners. Assisting with dissemination and translation efforts. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
