Coordinator, Talloires Network

A sponsored project at Tufts, the Talloires Network is a global network of 220 universities committed to moving beyond the ivory tower. Since the inception of the Network in 2005, Tisch College has served as its secretariat and Rob Hollister directs the project. Network programs include web-based exchange of best practices, an annual prize competition, partnerships with regional networks, seed grants and capacity-building with member institutions, and research and publications. The mission of Tisch College is to strengthen active citizenship teaching and research across the university through programs with students, faculty, community partners and alumni. In academic year 2013, the project will move from Tisch College to the School of Arts & Sciences. This is a one year limited appointment position. This limited appointment position may be subject to possible extension depending on continued funding.
The Coordinator, Talloires Network will coordinate implementation of the Talloires Network’s work plan. He/she will oversee outreach to current and prospective member institutions, partnership development, project design and management,
research and communications. The Coordinator also supports and integrates the work of other secretariat staff (two part-time senior staff) and also of an international Steering Committee.
