The Campus Corps Program Manager is responsible for the administration of a Montana-wide AmeriCorps volunteer program. In that capacity, the role is responsible for managing a multi-phase, robust site development process (including designing and disseminating a Request For Proposals, regularly visiting communities in-person and meeting with potential partners and engaging local MTCC affiliates as partners); Managing a transparent grant competition (including recruiting grant readers, scoring applications, negotiating with applicants, etc); VISTA site supervisor training and technical assistance; AmeriCorps member skill and citizenship training; AmeriCorps site performance tracking and programmatic compliance; and proposal writing. The program manager is responsible for directly supervising the Campus Corps Senior Leader, and indirectly the member corps distributed across the state. The role requires a high degree of initiative and independence. The position is also responsible for directly supervising the MTCC Senior Campus Corps leader, and indirectly responsible for the corps of AmeriCorps members disbursed across Montana.
