Meet Nicole Kirschler and Mark Pfanstiehl – Fall 2022 SBEC Student Attorneys!

Hello! My name is Nicole Kirschler, and I am excited to work alongside my fellow student attorneys at Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic this fall.

In addition to being a law student, I am obtaining my MBA in Finance from Penn State. I have always been interested in practicing business law and have experience in fund structuring and international tax law. I look forward to gaining more hands-on experience and helping clients in the clinic!

Outside school, I enjoy working out and spending time with my kiddos. Given my very introverted personality, I also enjoy staying home to watch movies and eat snacks!

Hello, I’m Mark Pfanstiehl

I’m originally from Maryland and received my political science degree at Hood College. I moved down to North Carolina where I worked in the suit and cigar industries while I leased apartments for years before I felt the need to grow academically.

I decided then to go to law school and focus in on business and criminal law. After I achieved half my goal by acquiring a residency at the Guilford County District Attorney’s Office, I decided to explore more of the business realm and signed up for every business-related elective that was offered. I then prepared for months to join Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where I get to manage my own portfolio of clients and help them in whatever way I can.

Upon graduation, I seek to hone my business drafting and client communication skills so that I may enter the professional world with the legal tools necessary to succeed.
