Meet Evan Smith, a 3L from Bluefield, West Virginia. Evan graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship. Evan’s claim-to-fame from college is being teammates on the men’s golf team with PGA Tour Champion, JT Poston.
Evan has always been drawn to entrepreneurship, because it presents many of the same challenges and opportunities as athletic competition. Being an entrepreneur, like being a golfer, requires self-reliance, commitment to process, and the ability to learn from failures. With these challenges comes the opportunity for ultimate success and sense of achievement. Evan knows that although entrepreneurs are ultimately self-reliant, they cannot achieve the level of success they strive for without proper guidance from others.
Evan wants to be part of the team that helps others perform their best, and it is this desire that has driven him to pursue a career in business law.
