Meet Evan Tarver, a second-year law student from Toms River, New Jersey. Evan graduated from Rutgers University with B.A. in journalism and political science. Prior to enrolling at Elon Law, he wrote for an online editorial, covering Rutgers athletics. A large part of why Evan chose Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic was his personal experience in seeing a small business evolve. His father, a solo practitioner, enabled him to see firsthand the difficulties and obstacles that many people face when trying to start their own venture. Throughout Evan’s time with the Clinic he hopes that he will be able to take some of the strain off of those individuals, and make the process as easy as possible.
Meet Taylor Di Stefano, a second-year law student from Williamsburg, Virginia. Taylor graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in political science and communication studies. Since 2012, Taylor helped her dad manage administrative matters in his small business in the landscaping industry. This personal experience led to Taylor’s desire to pursue a legal career in the business field. Understanding the importance of each individual operation within a small business is what sparked her interest in Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic. Taylor looks forward to aiding and supporting the local small businesses in the Triad.
