This Monday marks the final countdown! This Saturday, the Elon community will watch this year’s graduates walk across the stage, under the Oaks and receive their diplomas. In the spirit of reminiscing, we had a few of our senior tour guides fill in the blank: “Freshman Year I _______.”

Blair Menzel: Freshman Year I… had the best year of my life!
Janae Frazier Freshman Year I… was scared and awkward.
Tricia Williams: Freshman Year I… watched a lot of Gossip Girl online with all the gals on my hall.
Lissa Mullery: Freshman Year I… found a home within Elon.
David Campbell : Freshman Year I… lived and breathed Moffitt (my dorm).
Lindsay Kimble: Freshman Year I… broke out of my shell.
Jasmine Whaley: Freshman Year I… had a water gun fight during quiet hours.
Rachel Southmayd: Freshman Year I… was terrified!
Emily Glaze: Freshman Year I… tried to get involved in everything.
Kathryn Knaus: Freshman Year I… met the best people (here’s looking at you, Roomz!), had the best time in class and out, and got super excited for the years to come.
