Workshop: Creating Rubrics for Grading and Teaching

Designing rubrics that help us grade AND teach can sometimes prove tricky – we may inadvertently emphasize logistics over more complex thinking or rely on shorthand that confuses novices. This workshop will focus on strategies for developing rubrics that can help us grade effectively (and efficiently), while also promoting student learning.
