Workshop: Designing and Assessing Integrating Learning Across Disciplines Using Cross-Course Projects

At UNC Asheville, 7 faculty teach classes about food, food systems and culture from different disciplinary perspectives, but with shared learning outcomes, through cross-course interactions that integrate disciplinary knowledge via student-to-student engagement. The workshop will focus on how to create integrative learning opportunities and assessment tools to measure student learning.
