Additionally, the Technology Service Desk is available to assist students with accessing our wireless networks and print stations at our office located at 114 W. Lebanon Avenue.

Technology orientation brochure

ICT has developed a comprehensive guide to acclimating yourself to technology and systems at Elon University. The guide covers a variety of important technology-based topics including, but not limited to: account access, cable television, wireless access, email, Moodle, and print stations. The brochure points users to documentation located on our Technology Wiki. Some users have experienced issues access the Technology Wiki through Firefox. If you cannot access the Technology Wiki through Firefox, please try Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

Move-In Day

On Move-In Day, ICT will have booths around campus to assist students with technology questions and basic technology needs (e.g., logging into email, wireless access, print station access). The booths will have ICT staff on hand to answer any technology-related questions. Booths are located at:

  • Historic West, on the north side of Virginia and Sloan
  • Historic East, by Carolina and Smith next to the parent’s tent
  • Colonnades, on the back side of E building
  • Inside Danieley Commons
  • In the middle of the Global Neighborhood quad

Ethernet cables

For first-year students, ICT provides one free Ethernet cable at no charge. To receive your cable, visit one of our Move-In Day booths or the Technology Service Desk. Returning students must purchase an Ethernet cable from the Barnes & Noble Campus Bookstore.
