Information Technology to revamp service desk processing

TeamDynamix mockup of website and tabletThe Office of Information Technology (IT) looks to improve customer relations and service desk operations with the launch of TeamDynamix on June 19.

This cloud-based service management tool offers an all-in-one platform for detailing campus technology services, sharing step-by-step guidance, and processing requests. In doing so, TeamDynamix will replace the use of Cherwell and the Elon Technology Wiki.

Designed with Elon’s signature look and feel, the new tool will feature an IT Service Catalog, which will include a comprehensive list of services and give faculty, staff and students another avenue to submit requests and get help with those services. In addition, the Knowledge Base will boast an array of how-to articles, allowing users to search for common technology solutions.

For IT, the shift to TeamDynamix will enhance behind-the-scenes workflows and expand the department’s ability to track data for continual service improvement.
