Fake break trip with Hope for Honduran Children-Meredith, Christian and April<\/p>\n<p>A. Treats from Honduras<\/p>\n<p>B. What we did<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Visited Flor Azul farm and orphanage, visited new HFHC Transition home<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Took video footage and interviews for Sundance Film Festival Entry<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Isabel mentioned being interested in helping this project<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">-Interviewed some of the boys and recieved some really great insight from them<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">All of them are very appreciative of their situation and they want to make the best of it (go to college\/go to the transitional home)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">C. Observations about the organization<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Transition House = awesome way for Periclean to get involved and in a \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0sustainable way<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Many aspects such as delegation of tasks could be handled better and in a more sustainable way -&gt; potential project: audit organization to improve sustainability<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; CRHP model (Periclean: India) could be adopted and put into the works for HFHC<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">E. Question\/Answer<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">&#8211; Where would we fit into this? -&gt; so many options (Supporting a child financially, writing an external grant, building facilities, help out with sustainability of the organization, etc.), Will be on the report and discussed next class.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">-More potential projects:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">making a CD from audio and selling it<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">selling bracelets\u2192 maybe having different departments order bracelets specific to their department<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Setting up distributors for jewelry<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Donate laptops<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px\">-Will there be a committee that focuses solely on this? \u2192 Thinking about having a committee of 4 or 5 people. Some ideas for the committee include, answering some of Karen\u2019s daily emails about trip details, making the website better (with a promo), basically manage the projects with Karen<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">F. Discussion in small groups about findings on \u201cFounderitis\u201d and partnership with H4HC (Did not get this far)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">G. Deadline timeline. Time to go home and process.
