On Holocaust Remembrance Day of 2018, students of Elon’s Holocaust Journey winter term program paid tribute to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust by sharing their stories of hardship and loss. One by one, each student shared a story that illustrated the struggle and fear that so many people experienced during this tragic point in history. Each year, people around the world lit candles and prayed for those affected by the Holocaust. The Elon community joined this tradition, and spoke to remember and honor those who suffered from the Holocaust.
