“Switching It Up” provides resources, tips and considerations for those preparing to change careers and begin a job search. Topics include motivations and strategies for job search, resources for researching opportunities, as well as professional documents necessary to conduct a job search.
Marianne Brigola, NCC is the Assistant Director of Career Services for the School of Communications. The primary goal of the School of Communications Careers Office is to assist communications students and alumni with self-assessment (exploring interests, abilities, values, and personaility style), exploration of academic majors, (Journalism, Strategic Communications, Media Arts & Entertainment, Communication Science, Sport & Event Management) career exploration, job searches, graduate program searches, networking, and creating and executing an action plan to secure a job or admission into a graduate program.
