As a student at Elon University, Jensen Roll took the opportunity to create an independent major where he could focus on his passion of social enterprise and the future of the purpose driven economy. He is a Social Entrepreneurship Major and Leadership Minor has had a very unique academic experience which has connected the social sciences with business. His first business, H.O.P.E. – Helping Other People Eat is a prime example of his passion to change the world. H.O.P.E. is a social business fighting hunger by providing food pantries and soup kitchens with sustainable financial support. During his time studying in South Africa Jensen worked on research about the future of the purpose driven economy from a public sociological perspective.
