Break Away is a national nonprofit organization, based in Atlanta, GA, focused on developing active citizens – individuals who make community a priority in their values and life choices. We believe alternative breaks and similar community based-learning experiences can serve as a powerful catalyst to change the way students see the world and engage in it.
The Community Coordinator will join the team responsible for supporting and expanding the current network of more than 800 community organizations through ongoing outreach, consultation, and resource development as well as overseeing external training and programs that support both community organization and housing partners.
