Voting closes on August 14th to support Sally Parlier, an NC Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA and nominee for a 2013 Service Impact Award. Sally is serving her second year as the NC Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA at Durham Technical Community College supporting a partnership between Durham Tech and the Briggs Avenue Community Garden. 2013 Service Impact Awards recognize outstanding contributions made by programs of the Corporation for National and Community Service. Recipients will be announced and recognized on CNCS’s website and through traditional and social media. Recipients will receive a Service Impact statue recognizing their award and be showcased at relevant grantee meetings of CNCS.
