Mobilize.org invites Millennial leaders across North Carolina to apply for the Millennial Civic Engagement Summit. Summit participants will share the challenges they face to becoming civically engaged, and propose civic entrepreneurial strategies to address those problems on their campuses and in their communities for the 2012 Election and beyond.
The summit will take place August 24-26 at the Hilton Charlotte City Center. You will have the opportunity to network with other Millennials from around the country, discuss the most pressing issues facing our generation, engage with elected
officials on the local, state and federal level and attend workshops to help you in your own civic engagement project.
Hotel accommodations, meals and travel reimbursements will also be provided to the accepted participants by Mobilize.org. Applications will be accepted online until Friday, August 10th.
