A Student-Group Education Packet: Understanding Human Trafficking

This project was founded on the belief that the complicated issue of human trafficking can be combatted through increased community education. To alleviate the issue of student groups interested in addressing this issue not having access to the materials the need to get started, the project includes the creation of a packet which provides student groups with important information, resources and involvement ideas. After analyzing data on student perceptions of trafficking and anti-trafficking organizations’ presentations from a rhetorical perspective, knowledge of rhetorical strategies was used to create the packet, and thereby increase the likelihood of involvement by student organizations in the anti-trafficking fight.
