First and foremost, this video is outdated. With this being said, I feel that it still provides meaningful information on interface design and visual concepts. As my fellow peer Evan Atkinson explained, they used the 2008 iPhone interface.
Immediately after watching this video, I did a comparison to my new IOS7 iPhone interface. With the new IOS7m I can see how Apple somewhat expanded the ideas of the high resolution screens and images, The camera is much better and the parallax feature between pages is unique. IOS7 does a good job in utilized space. In the video, he was demoing with an iPhone 3G or 4. With the new 5 (S and C), the screen is much much sleek, there is more space and the icons have an opacity that makes the user more aware of the space.
I can see myself using this video and data when mapping out and designing mock interfaces from various platforms and screens. Not only do I find this information interesting, but it also makes me want to compare other Android interfaces and discover which features are successful and which are not.
