I really enjoyed this weeks blog post assignment. I found every video and artist interesting. What I learned most from watching these videos and seeing the works of these designers was that they all had a different process of creating and refining.
One designer that stood out the most to me was Paula Scher. Her work was beyond rememberable and her approach to design was somewhat intuitive. I enjoyed hearing how her concepts developed and hearing how she and her career had progressed over the last 34 years.
Another designer that I enjoyed learning about was David Carson. He explained that one of the most important things to remember in design is to feature your own personality in the work.
These two designers reminded me of each other because both are intuitive and personally connected with the works that they create. Out of the many artists/designers in this series, I found these two to be the most artistic and innovative within the field of graphic design. Not only do they create things that are aesthetically pleasing, but they find creative ways of incorporating bits and pieces of their own personalities and interpretations.
