Back by popular demand, Belk Library is once again be offering its introduction to genealogy workshop, “Skeletons in the Closet.”  This one-hour session, taught by librarians Randall Bowman and Jamane Yeager, covers how to get started doing genealogical research: where to look, what to look for, and what sources are out there for genealogists.

Skeletons in the Closet will be offered at these dates and times:

June 18, noon

June 19, 8:00 am

July 9, 1:00 pm

July 10, 3:00 pm

These sessions will be in Belk Library 113, the computer lab on the first floor.

If you work for the university’s Physical Plant Department (Building Trades, Environmental Services, Landscaping & Grounds, or Utilities Maintenance Units) and are interested in attending, please notice there are sessions that are scheduled at the end of first shift (3 pm on July 10) and third shift (8 am on June 19)

Due to limited space in each session, please contact Randall Bowman (extension 6571, rbowman@elon.edu) to reserve a space in the session you would like to come to.  Space is limited to 20 each session.  Elon spouses/partners, family members, and retirees are welcome to participate.
