Call for Guest Bloggers

Do you have something to say about Undergraduate Research? Are you looking for a written forum to express your ideas with the UR community and to start conversations? PURM is looking for you!

PURM supports Current Questions, a blog to inspire an online conversation within the community. The PURM editors are seeking individuals to serve as guest bloggers once a month for a one-year commitment. Bloggers can come from any discipline and be students, faculty, administrators, etc. Responsibilities would include working with the editors on a mutually agreeable theme for your guest blogging posts, developing a calendar for posts, and writing 12 posts over the calendar year (beginning Fall 2012) on UR-appropriate topics. We hope to build the Current Questions blog in a way similar to the blog structure of Inside Higher Ed. If you have an idea for a guest blog or have questions about this opportunity, please contact Dr. Rebecca Pope-Ruark, Managing Editor, PURM.
