Elon University faculty, staff, and students are welcome to submit video material to Learning On Demand. We encourage you to first review the submission guidelines below.

Elon University’s Learning On Demand is a curated repository of educational videos produced by Elon University faculty, staff and students. These videos are made freely available to the public.

The following criteria are used in the consideration of all material:

  • Support for the intellectual climate of the Elon University community
  • Support for the mission of the institution
  • Broad academic interest
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Technical quality of picture and sound

In an effort to include a representative sample of the wide range of ideas, opinions, and academic research of the institution, priority will be given to materials that do not duplicate content already held by the collection.

Highlights of athletic competitions, promotional announcements, content primarily designed to entertain, and instructional materials with specific course applications, such as lecture capture, screen casts, and student classroom presentations, will generally not be considered.

The views expressed within the hosted content do not necessarily represent those of the institution, its officers, or governing boards, and no guarantee is made regarding the accuracy of video material appearing on the website.

Learning On Demand embraces the values of academic freedom and liberty of conscience, which are consistent with the Elon University Mission Statement.

Material featured on Elon University’s Learning On Demand must comply with copyright law, as well as all applicable Elon University policies, including the Acceptable Usage Policy and the Web Policy.

If you have questions or concerns about material on this site, please contact us.
