Mac recently took a three month sabbatical to hike 750 miles of the Appalachian Trail and Camino de Santiago. He is married to Katy and they have four children. Mac loves to walk his dog, read Hafiz & Mary Oliver, tend to his very small garden, learn from his teenage kids, walk labyrinths, cook pies and get some form of physical activity into his day. He has been a pastor and head of staff at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC. He has served congregations in Arizona, New Jersey and Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has his Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a BA from Elon College (’92).
