Director of Faculty Engagement/Assistant Dean, Swearer Center, Brown University

As a member of the Swearer Center Senior Staff, the Assistant Dean represents the Center to internal and external stakeholders; supervises junior staff;  and may take on additional roles as the Center continues to grow and evolve.  Additionally, the Assistant Dean will conduct portfolio-specific budget planning and forecasting and manage program budget; work with university leadership to develop and execute fundraising strategy for community-engaged scholarship programs for faculty, including proposals and reports; manage significant gifts and grants; serve as a spokesperson for community-engaged scholarship initiatives to internal and external audiences.
