Applications are being accepted for the full-time, year-round position of coordinator for civic engagement. This position is responsible for coordinating a civic engagement program that offers educational and developmental opportunities for students through direct service, community advocacy, social activism, and public scholarship. The staff member also collaborates with faculty members and with community agencies to implement a wide variety of civic engagement activities in and out of the classroom environment. This position reports directly to the dean of students.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Experience with service, advocacy, programming events, leadership or non-profit organization leadership preferred. Some evening and weekend hours will be required and successful candidates must have a valid driver’s license and have the ability to drive to various agencies and transport students as needed.
