This position is a full-time, 12-month position with an appointment in an academic department. The Executive Director will promote civic engagement as it is envisioned by JMU (that is, we seek to “advance the legacy of James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, by preparing individuals to be active and responsible participants in a representative democracy dedicated to the common good”). The preferred starting date is July 1, 2017.
