New York University is hiring a Program Administrator within the Center for Student Activities, Leadership, and Service. The Program Administrator is a professional level staff member who works as a member of the Service team to develop and implement service/civic engagement related programs and services including alternative breaks, ongoing and one-day volunteer opportunities, special events, retreats, social media and marketing, online publications, and workshops. The position consults and partners with University offices and external organizations to develop and implement service/civic engagement programs and events, and provides advisement and special services for student leaders, clubs, and organizations.
A key component of the position is to directly oversee the planning, logistics, training, and development of NYU’s alternative breaks program. Each year, the NYU alternative breaks program sends over 200 students across the country and the world to create an impact on a community in need through direct service. Through learning and practice, students explore the theory of integrating service, education, and reflection to create meaningful change in their communities.
