The Program Coordinator will assist the Assistant Director in coordinating the Iowa College AmeriCorps Program (ICAP) which includes 150 part-time and 4 full-time members serving through 10 college campus sites with a variety of community organizations providing volunteer management and capacity building services. Related duties include:
- Supervising and training AmeriCorps members
- Training and communicating with local site supervisors
- Designing assessment systems and reporting models and compiling reports
- Ensuring compliance with grant requirements and policies
- Designing promotional materials and recruiting sites and members
- Evaluating program results and implementing program improvements
- Coordinating trainings and site visits with the AmeriCorps VISTA Leader as needed
This position requires significant travel across the state of Iowa in order to support program needs at AmeriCorps host sites. Access full description here:
