GROW Project Coordinator (Part-time), NC Community Garden Partners

North Carolina Community Garden Partners is looking for a passionate and organized part-time Project Coordinator to serve in an integral role in the North Carolina community garden movement, helping to grow gardens, food, and community across the state.

The person whom we select will set up and manage our GROW (Gardeners Recreating Our World) workshops for community gardeners and organizations in 2016.

Now in their third year, NCCGP-sponsored GROW workshops are held in different communities and locations, from the coast to the mountains. Each workshop includes hands-on training and a community garden tour.

GROW workshops provide information on creating sustainable, well-organized, community-supported, and environmentally-friendly community gardens. New this year, on-the-ground workshop trainings will be complemented by production of two webinars on community garden organization and management and best practices.

Funding is provided by the Burt’s Bees Greater Good Foundation and The Conservation Fund’s Resourceful Communities program, a program of the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust and Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.

To apply for the job, please email a cover letter, resume, and three references to nccgpartner@nccgp.org with “NCCGP Project Coordinator” in the subject line. To learn more, please download the GROW Coordinator Project Description.  Applications are due by 5 pm on May 31, 2016.
