Advocate Program Coordinator, Community Empowerment Fund

Community Empowerment Fund in Chapel Hill, NC is currently seeking applications to fill the following open positions:

  • Advocate Program Coordinator (full-time staff position). This position is based in CEF’s Chapel Hill office and coordinates the activities of 100+ volunteer advocates for our Orange County programs and services while serving as a key leader for CEF’s overall programming in Orange County. This position collaborates, ideates, and creates with counterpart program coordinators in CEF’s Durham office. In their first year in this role, the Advocate Program Coordinator will manage a complex cross-functional work plan with multiple stakeholders to improve volunteer management practices.
  • Workforce Development Specialist (Americorps VISTA through the IDA and Asset Building Collaborative of NC) This Americorps VISTA position at CEF will focus on building capacity in the areas of workforce development services, and integrating financial capability services into employment services. The position will be based in Chapel Hill.
