JOB SUMMARY:
The position of Grants Officer researches and writes grant proposals to private foundation, corporate foundation and government and religious grant makers, and prepares progress reports and all supporting documents to create professional, comprehensive and responsive proposals to funding entities. This position coordinates with members of various Food Bank departments as required to complete compelling grant proposals and thorough follow-up reports to grant makers.
SCHEDULE: Full time; Office hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm
TRAVEL: Occasional travel within FBCENC’s 34 county service area or to professional development opportunities, very rarely overnight.
