Position Summary

Engaged Cornell (EC) is a new and evolving university initiative that is establishing community engagement in teaching, learning, and research as a hallmark of the Cornell experience. Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) provides the educational outreach functions for Cornell University’s role as New York State’s Land Grant University. Programmatically, Cornell Cooperative Extension connects the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Human Ecology (CHE) with 55 off-campus Associations, Integrated Pest Management, New York Sea Grant, Area Specialists, and CCE New York City.

The Engaged Cornell Cooperative Extension Liaison (Ithaca), is charged with supporting Cooperative Extension (CCE) and Engaged Cornell in facilitating access to statewide community-engaged research, learning and service experiences for students, faculty, and staff. 

This position is full-time and will be based in Ithaca, New York, working under the supervision of Cornell University’s Cooperative Extension Director and the Executive Director of Engaged Cornell. Occasional travel (approximately 5 – 10%) will be required throughout New York State.

The Engaged Cornell NYC Liaison is charged with supporting Cooperative Extension (CCE) and Engaged Cornell in facilitating access to NYC-based community-engaged research, learning and service experiences for students, faculty, and staff.

This position is full-time and will be based in New York City, working under the supervision of CUCE-NYC’s Executive Director and the Executive Director of Engaged Cornell. Occasional travel to Ithaca, NY will be required.
