Indiana University, Bloomington is pleased to accept applications for two Postdoctoral Fellowships for scholars studying race and ethnicity from a broad range of social science and humanities fields, including (but not limited to) African American Studies, American Studies, Asian American Studies, Anthropology, Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, Economics, Geography, Gender Studies, History, Native American Studies, Latino Studies, Media and Communications, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
The CRRES Postdoctoral Fellowship Program aims to create a legacy of scholars who address issues related to race and ethnicity using a multidisciplinary lens. These fellowships are designed to nurture the academic careers of new scholars by providing opportunities to pursue research while gaining mentoring from CRRES affiliates and faculty in host departments. Strong applicants will demonstrate evidence of scholarship potentially competitive for tenure-‐track appointments at Indiana University and other research universities.
Our application process is now open for CRRES two-year postdoctoral scholar positions for 2016-18. Postdoctoral scholars will teach one course per academic year (rather than two) and have the opportunity to participate in the Faculty Success Program through the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.
These two-‐year positions begin on August 1, 2016 and end on May 31, 2018, at a 10-‐month annual
salary of $51,500. Each postdoctoral fellow will also receive $3,000 each year in research support and Indiana University health benefits.
