CU Engage is a new Center for Community-based Learning and Research on the CU Boulder campus housed in the School of Education. CU Engage will leverage the resources of our campus to work collaboratively with community groups to address complex public challenges and advance the academic mission of the university. The Center, housed in the School of Education, will form and sustain community partnerships, organize opportunities for students to learn alongside community members and faculty, and convene researchers and partners to strengthen participatory and public-focused research methods. Our goals are to foster a culture of inquiry and experiential learning among CU-Boulder students, raise the visibility, quality, and prestige of engaged scholarship on the CU-Boulder campus, contribute to a more inclusive and diverse campus, and sustain strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with community groups.
