Community-Based Engaged Learning Director, Georgia College

The Community Based Engaged Learning Director is a full-time 12-month position that reports directly to the Associate Provost. This position will serve as the primary operational steward of the university’s upcoming Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) – “Building a Culture of Engaged Learning,” and will be responsible for the day-to-day effectiveness of the QEP project. Georgia College recently submitted its Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS COC) Reaffirmation Report and will have an onsite visit in April 2014. This position will also be responsible for the facilitation of community-based learning projects across campus and throughout the community, as well as other engaged learning projects within the university.
