Celebrate service during National Volunteer Week!

Capture

National Volunteer Week celebrates people who build better communities through their volunteer service. Founded in 1974, National Volunteer Week focuses our attention on the power of those who give their time and talents for the benefit of us all. NC Campus Compact member institutions value the power of these students, faculty, staff and community volunteers; and many campuses hold events this month to recognize individuals and organizations who do this work. Through programs like the Compact’s Community Impact Student Award, students are recognized for leadership and for volunteer service. All this week, NC Campus Compact will be honoring volunteerism on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Follow the conversation and post a story about a dedicated volunteer at your campus!
